The new album is closer to Boards of Canada's psychedelic roots. There is much more guitar and a move away from straight electronic music. At the same time it still contains many of the Board's trademarks that people have come to love. The music reflects the fact that they have been living deep within nature, and the rhythms are those of nature rather than those of the city.
