Tragically Hip Play Surprise Show, Danny Michel opens

THE TRAGICALLY HIP played a surprise gig at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern last night. The charity event was announced by local radio stations just hours before showtime and, of course, a line-up formed outside the Horseshoe immediately. But not everyone got in, including our own Muchmusic cameras - it was a "non media" event. We did, however, witness the mayhem as people tried to get in last night. (From MuchMusic RapidFax) Also of note: Ottawa songster Danny Michel with his Wedding Band (Ian and Peter from Starling) opened up for the Hip. Congrats dudes!
